Risks
To love is to risk not being loved in return,
To live is to risk dying,
To hope is to risk despair,
To try is to risk failure,
But risk must be taken,
because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing,
does nothing, has nothing, and is nothing.
They may avoid suffering and sorrow,
but they can’t learn, feel, change, grow, love or live.
Chained by their attitudes, they are salves,
they have forfeited their freedom.
Only a person who risks is free

Apakah gue suka dengan SBY? Gue menilai dia lambat dalam memberantas korupsi, so, no, gue gak suka. Tapi u know what? Anggota DPR bisanya apa? Melancong dengan biaya 5 milyar per trip (bawa istri pula), pulang-pulang minta bancakan ke setiap bupati. Elo mau percaya sama orang kayak gitu? Mana yang elo lebih percaya? Gue sih pemerintah.

All children are born with emotional needs. These needs must be met by the adults in their life if they’re to grow into confident and independent adults. The acronym PARENTS summarises children’s needs (Protection, Acceptance, Recognition, Enforced limits,…
Signs
It’s almost been a year since I dropped my German course. Well, at that time I just lost my curiosity.. my motivation toward it. Since I had some things to take care of and also my plans changed, I don’t think I should learn it seriously and I think, I can learn it by my self. In fact, I never do that, not even trying to remember all I’ve got. :S
And lately, some things happened..
Yesterday, I watched A Dangerous Method, I found many German words in it (as it’s about Jung and Freud’s conflicts). Today, my professor taught me.. he said some Germans words for terms. After that, I chatted with a friend, she said ‘danke’. What a coincidence.. and yes, I miss learning German. :’(
I feel guilty for abandoning it and not even try to learn. I remember Bu Mey who reaaaallyy is an amazing teacher then feel more guilty. I feel bad. Well, the good point is.. I realize that it’s still there.
hemh, maybe they’re signs for me to retry.. and restart..
Previous psychological research has linked sadness with increased thoughtfulness. What’s happening with sad movies, say the researchers, is that when they trigger a big enough emotional response, viewers begin to analyze their personal lives and appreciate them more. That makes them happier.
